Blade size: 21 cm x 5 cm
Steel:W2 carbon steel, it is NOT STAINLESS.
The blade has a line called “hamon” that separates the soft steel form the hardened steel. In order to get this the blade is covered in clay before quenching. What you get is interesting aesthetics and a more durable blade because the spine remains soft and makes it difficult to brake.
Finish: Hand sanded. Acid etched
The ergonomic sculpted handle is made from unknown burl and brass.
