Carbon Steel Pan – 28 cm
Ever since I had my first carbon steel pan, it has become my favorite piece in the kitchen. I always thought I should make one myself — with more character, more beauty, and a more artisanal feel.
The body is made from 3 mm carbon steel, produced together with a local company that created custom tooling specifically for this project. The handle I forged myself from solid iron, and it’s attached with copper rivets, hammered one by one in my workshop.
You can expect small marks and imperfections from the forging and assembly. To me, that’s what makes it special: it carries the story of being the very first.
